ROYAL PALM BEACH Fla. The wife of a paramedic gunned down at a Wendy s said Thursday she is struggling to understand what led a year old handyman to commit the rampage that killed her husband. Alburn Edward Blake shot him in the back and wounded four other customers before killing himself. The wounded are all recovering at hospitals. This needs to stop Michele Vazquez said. The tragedies need to stop. No more families need to go through this. She remembered her yea! r old husband as a jokester with a quick wit and an infectious smile who would help anyone in need. Aside from their young son the couple have four children between them from prior relationships. I thank God every day for giving me the years that I had with him she said.
